My Passion for Fashion: Finding Inspiration During a Pandemic

It is times like these (although a pandemic is new to us, there have been other crises) that I am truly saddened. Witnessing the challenges we are all are having while COVID-19 wreaks havoc on our economy and humanity is devastating. And because of the corona virus the fashion industry, something I have a passion for, will never be the same.

For those of you who know me, you know I love fashion. It is part of me and has been my entire career. And my role as the Fashion Industry Executive Advisor at SAP is a dream job! I get to meet with amazing people in the industry, watch innovative brands grow, and sometimes, a small part of an incredible digital transformation. I get inspiration from the fashion industry. Even now, despite all this turmoil, I continue to find inspiration, a light of hope and a sense of community that continues to inspire me.

In hopes of inspiring you too, I wanted to share this beautifully assembled look-book my friends at FINDMINE have made. "With major disruption comes the opportunity for tremendous innovation and creativity" and that is exactly what these brands and designers have done to get us through this difficult time. For me, I can't wait to color my Manolos.
